NRW Holdings subsidiary Golding Contractors has extended its contract with Aberdare Collieries, a CS Energy subsidiary, for four years. The contract mining agreement (CMA) extends the partnership to 2030, with an option for CS Energy to further extend for two years. Valued at $245 million, the deal includes mine plan scope changes. Golding Contractors, set to supply major equipment under the CMA, will invest around $10 million in capital in the 2024–25 financial year. The extension will sustain employment for about 100 people, mainly in Chinchilla and southeast Queensland.
Following NRW’s $973 million contract with Northern Star in July, the company announced contracts across subsidiaries, totaling over $200 million. Golding Contractors secured a civil works contract for the Shoreline development in Redland Bay, Queensland. NRW subsidiary DIAB Engineering received $29 million for projects in Western Australia, expected to conclude this year. NRW’s civil division secured three contracts in the Pilbara valued at $78 million. OFI, a newly acquired subsidiary, landed a $13 million defense-related contract for electrical works. NRW acquired OFI for over $4 million in March, expecting $40 million in revenue by 2024.
